Hole #1-The view here is from the left of the green. Off the tee, a long tee shot will give you a chance to go for the green in two. You must however avoid the pond right of the fairway in the landing area, then place an exacting second shot over a pond, (that you see in the picture,) in front of the green. If you are too long, you are then faced with a difficult downhill chip or pitch onto a green that slopes very fast back toward the pond.
